| Your physician has requested
either a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computerized Tomography
(CT) to be completed for your diagnostic work-up. These images allow
for your physician to confirm bone and soft-tissue injuries or diseases
that may not be found by a regular x-ray or physical exam. While the
scan time of your image varies, please plan on being with us for approximately
one hour. This will ensure time to register you for your scan and allow
for changing into and out of the cloth gown you will be required to wear
for your exam. Although we will provide you with a locked area to store
your possessions while being scanned, we recommend all valuables be left
at home or with your guest in our reception area. |
