Dr. Galindo is a San Antonio native and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1972. He attended the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology.

He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship at Baylor affiliated hospitals, and a residency in orthopaedic surgery also at Baylor affiliated hospitals. Dr. Galindo then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery of the foot and ankle at the Wagner Institute in Los Angeles, California with F. William Wagner, M.D., Philip K. Kwong, M.D., and J.A. Realyvasques, M.D. Dr. Galindo is board certified and re-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
