Information
Dr. Hibberd is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical management of

|
Dr. Hibberd is from San Antonio where he graduated from Central Catholic High School. He completed his Bachelor degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas at Galveston. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston and the Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas.
Upon completing his studies, Dr. Hibberd spent five years practicing orthopaedics on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana.
This was followed by a fellowship in spine surgery in Houston at St. Lukes Hospital. Subsequently Dr. Hibberd practiced in
Philadelphia, where he was the head or orthopaedics for the Mercy Health System and responsible for the orthopaedic residency training.
In 2002, he returned to practice in San Antonio.
His practice goal is to spend as much time necessary with each patient to ensure that they thoroughly understand the nature of their
problem and the options available to them. Also, every attempt is made to help the patients negotiate our complex medical environment and to be
available for any questions or concerns.
