Kevin L. Kirk, DO, is an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon who helps patients get back to walking, working, and enjoying life with less pain. He specializes in foot and ankle injuries and conditions such as ankle sprains and instability, ankle fractures, ankle arthritis, Achilles tendon problems, and posterior tibial tendon disorders. He offers both nonsurgical care and advanced surgical options tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Kirk spent more than 20 years as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Army, caring for service members with some of the most complex foot and ankle injuries seen in medicine. This experience both in military hospitals and during deployments gives him a unique depth of expertise in treating severe trauma, difficult fractures, and limb‑saving procedures.

Today, he brings that same level of skill, precision, and compassion to patients in the San Antonio community. Dr. Kirk stays active in national orthopedic organizations, leads programs focused on bone health and fracture prevention, and is committed to educating patients so they fully understand their condition and treatment options.
