Additional Level - Medial Branch Block

This add-on service extends a medial branch block to an additional spinal level during the same treatment session. Using imaging guidance, medication is placed near the small nerves that carry pain signals from the facet joints.

This add-on service must be purchased in conjunction with an eligible primary procedure and is not available as a standalone service. Availability depends on the procedure, provider, and clinical appropriateness. If you require additional treatment at the time of service beyond what is included in the service described above, additional charges may apply.
