Alpha 2 Macroglobulin (A2M)
A2M is a naturally occurring protein found in the blood that acts as a broad-spectrum protease inhibitor. Its primary role is to inhibit enzymes that break down proteins, including those that degrade cartilage in joints. By blocking these enzymes, A2M helps to protect and preserve the cartilage thereby stopping arthritis, reducing inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis. In addition to inhibiting proteases, A2M also interacts with inflammatory cytokines like tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), further reducing inflammation in the joint.
Benefits of A2M Therapy
Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC)
Human Bone Marrow is a source of mesenchymal cells as well as growth factors and cytokines that may aid anti-inflammation and regeneration for various tissues, including cartilage and bone.
Benefits of BMAC Therapy
Micro-Fragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT)
Micro-Fragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT) is a nonsurgical treatment that uses a patient’s own fat cells to heal and repair tissue. Adipose tissue taken that would derive mesenchymal cells can be used as a scaffold and graft for high grade partial tendon tears for tissue repair/regeneration as well as Osteoarthritis.
