Additional Level - Spinal Radiofrequency Ablation

This add-on service extends a spinal radiofrequency ablation procedure to an additional spinal level during the same treatment session. Controlled radiofrequency energy is used to treat the pain-transmitting nerves at the additional level.

This add-on service must be purchased in conjunction with an eligible primary procedure and is not available as a standalone service. Availability depends on the procedure, provider, and clinical appropriateness. If you require additional treatment at the time of service beyond what is included in the service described above, additional charges may apply.
