A rotator cuff repair is a surgery that fixes tears in the group of muscles and tendons that help lift and rotate your shoulder. These tears can cause pain, weakness, and limit your movement. During the procedure, the surgeon reattaches the torn tendon to the bone, often using small anchors, to restore shoulder strength and function. This can be done through minimally invasive arthroscopy or, in some cases, through a small open incision.
