Great toe fusion (arthrodesis) is a surgical procedure that permanently joins the bones at the base of the big toe to eliminate painful joint movement. This procedure is commonly used to treat severe arthritis, deformity, instability, or chronic pain. By creating a stable joint, the procedure can help reduce pain, improve alignment, and support walking and other daily activities.
This procedure cannot be scheduled or purchased without a prior consultation or initial evaluation by one of our healthcare providers. A provider order is required to ensure this treatment is appropriate for your specific condition. This procedure includes facility, anesthesia, professional, and assistant fees. If you require additional treatment at the time of service beyond what is included in the service described above, additional charges may apply.
