Dr. Goff is a pain management physician with TSAOG Orthopaedics. He is board certified by The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) and fellowship trained in Pain Medicine. Dr. Goff specializes in pain management, sports injury pain, and rehabilitation and treats patients aged 15 years and up.
Dr. Goff’s practice philosophy is patient-centered: he works with you to treat your pain and improve your function, adding life to your years. He has special interests in minimally invasive treatments for back and neck pain, joint pain, spine injections, osteopathic and integrative practices, and orthobiologics treatments. He has appointments available at our Ridgewood, Medical Center and Westover Hills locations.
MEET DR. GOFF
Dr. Goff specializes in minimally invasive treatments for neck and back pain. He is triple board certified in Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation through The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
Dr. Goff’s hometown is Tyler, TX and he graduated from Texas A&M University before completing medical school at Kansas City University. His residency training was completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and his fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Goff completed 20 years of active duty service in the US Army, attaining the rank of Colonel. He was a first responder at the Pentagon on 9/11.
As a PM&R physician, his Army career involved helping the most severely injured service members rehabilitate and optimize their function as they transitioned to the next phase of their lives. In between multiple deployments to Iraq, Dr. Goff led the military’s largest pain management clinic, created a fellowship to train military pain management specialists, and led the Center for the Intrepid here in San Antonio.
His special interests include back and neck pain, joint pain, neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation, peripheral stimulation), spine injections, osteopathic and integrative practices, and orthobiologics treatments. Dr. Goff has specialized training in a number of minimally invasive procedures which help provide a comprehensive portfolio of care available to patients through TSAOG Orthopaedics.
In his spare time, he enjoys his spending time with his family, being outside, reading, and trail running on the local nature trails.
