A shoulder scope, or shoulder arthroscopy, is a minimally invasive procedure where a surgeon uses a small camera (called an arthroscope) and specialized instruments to look inside your shoulder joint and treat problems. A “complex” shoulder scope means the procedure may involve repairing multiple issues, such as torn tendons (rotator cuff), cartilage damage, or removing inflamed tissue. This approach uses small incisions, which can lead to less pain and faster recovery than open surgery.
Please note:
This procedure cannot be scheduled or purchased without a prior consultation or initial evaluation by one of our healthcare providers. A provider’s order is required to determine if this surgery is right for your specific condition.
