Direct-Pay Marketplace

We are pleased to offer transparent pricing and a pre-payment option for self-pay patients and Direct to Employer Partners. These rates are typically not available if our physicians are participating providers with your health insurance plan, or if the services are determined to be non-covered under your specific insurance plan. In accordance with the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act and the HIPAA Privacy Rule, patients who elect to pay in full out-of-pocket for services may request that no information related to these services be disclosed to their health plan.

 

TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine honors these requests in full compliance with federal regulations. Patients choosing to waive their insurance benefits and self-pay for services will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging their request and understanding that charges will not be submitted to their insurance carrier for reimbursement.

 

Please note: If you are seeking treatment for a work-related injury under a workers’ compensation claim, you are not eligible to purchase services through our self-pay Direct Pay Marketplace. In accordance with Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation regulations, treatment related to a compensable workers’ compensation injury must be processed through the workers’ compensation system and cannot be paid out-of-pocket by the injured worker.

 

By purchasing a self-pay package, you are agreeing to waive your right to submit charges associated with this appointment to any insurance plan. TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine will provide an itemized billing statement upon request. Refunds will only be issued if services were paid for but not rendered due to appointment rescheduling or cancellation.
